Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 8, 2025

At Lakatos AG Consulting, we are committed to providing professional, results-driven agricultural consulting services. Due to the nature of our work, our time, expertise, and resources are allocated in advance to deliver the agreed scope of work.

1. General Policy

• All consulting fees, deposits, and retainers are non-refundable once payment is received, unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.

• This policy applies regardless of whether the Client chooses to proceed with the service after booking.

2. Deposits

• Deposits are required to secure service dates and are non-refundable.

• If the Client requests a reschedule with at least 14 days’ notice, the deposit may be applied toward a future service date within 6 months, subject to availability.

3. Service Cancellations

• If you cancel after work has begun (including research, planning, or site visits), you are responsible for all work completed up to the cancellation date.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of a scheduled service date are charged at 100% of the service fee.

4. Rescheduling

• Rescheduling requests must be made in writing.

• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but new dates are subject to availability.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may only be issued at the sole discretion of Lakatos AG Consulting in cases where:

• We are unable to fulfill the service due to unforeseen circumstances on our end.

• A mutual written agreement states otherwise.
